Our Story

Building a tutu is an art form, one doesn’t simply sew a tutu. Only in ballet do we ask our dancers to sweat, do incredibly difficult physically demanding roles while gracefully wearing makeup, diamonds, silk and a smile! When sourcing materials, one of my top priorities is to source as much USA fabric, materials and supplies as possible. I am proud to say all of my tutus are made with high quality, professional, diamond hole tutu net and tulle MADE IN THE USA!
— Holly Bennett, Owner

The Idea

Through an organic beginning from volunteering in the costume department when my daughter was 3 years old as a little Pink Mouse in a local Nutcracker production I ascribed myself to a self discovery leading to a self lead internship of the art of tutu building. Starting locally and growing internationally my tutus are dancing across stages of the world!

Style & Quality

Highest quality fabrics, notions, trims and all the little things that go into building a delicate, durable, elegant and form fitting tutu was my goal starting out years ago.  Each ballet tutu I create becomes a lesson in the craft of tutu building and design.  I am constantly educating myself on current trends and classic interpretations of ballet costumes.  Investing in the nominal textile industry in the USA I strive to use as many MADE IN USA supplies as possible when building my tutus.  Every tutu tulle and net is proudly sourced right here, MADE IN THE USA.

100% Handmade

Buidling a tutu can take time, a lot of time depending on the complexity of the tutu.  Usual time from receipt of payment to ship out date is typically 2-3 weeks off season and 3-6 weeks during high peak times (fall and competition season).  Spring is your best bet to look ahead and contact me to help replenish your tutus for your school, dancer or large scale production.  I have designed and created full length ballets, corp tutus, soloist and school recital tutus. Please see my gallery for some of my work.  Look around and enjoy!
